beliefs :
The Buddha taught many things, but the basic concepts in Buddhism can be summed up by the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path.
whats are the four noble truths?
*the first noble truth is that life is suffering. what that means is We have to endure physical suffering like sickness, injury, tiredness, old age and eventually death and endure psychological suffering like loneliness, frustrations, fear, embarrassment, disappointment. etc...
*The Second Noble Truth states that there is an origin of suffering and that the origin of suffering is attachment to the three kinds of desire: desire for sense pleasure, desire to become and desire to get rid of.
The Third Noble Truth is that suffering can be overcome and happiness attained.
the fourth noble truth is that the Middle Path leads to the end of suffering. The Middle Path is the Buddha's treatment for the problem of suffering in all of our lives.
Buddhism is also a belief system which is tolerant of all other beliefs or religions. Buddhism agrees with the moral teachings of other religions but Buddhism goes further by providing a long term purpose within our existence, through wisdom and true understanding.

role of women:
Buddhism does not consider neither gender to be better or have more power than the other. buddhism accepts men and women to be equally useful to the society. they have to share responsibility discharge their duties with equal dedication.
after life:
The Buddha said of death:
Life is a journey.
Death is a return to earth.
The universe is like an inn.
The passing years are like dust.
Regard this phantom world
As a star at dawn, a bubble in a stream,
A flash of lightning in a summer cloud,
A flickering lamp - a phantom - and a dream
after death one is either reborn into another body which is reincarnated or enters nirvana.
nirvana- Nirvana is the state of final liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth. which in other words the end of suffering.
